Manufacturing / Industrialization Engineer – GothenburgAlsha Konsult AB is looking for an experienced Manufacturing / Industrialization Engineer for an upcoming long-term consulting assignment within the automotive industry in Gothenburg.In this role, you will work at the interface between product development and manufacturing, helping ensure that new products and product changes are ready for efficient and robust implementation in production.We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a cross-functional environment, combining technical manufacturing knowledge with coordination, communication, and problem-solving.Your responsibilitiesCoordinate activities between product development and manufacturing engineering.Ensure manufacturing requirements are considered and implemented in new product designs.Support the industrialization of new products and product changes.Evaluate manufacturing feasibility and production readiness throughout the product development process.Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturing input and recommendations.Work with virtual manufacturing, 3D models and 2D technical drawings.Define and follow up manufacturing requirements related to routing, ergonomics, assembly and production processes.Support development, verification and validation of manufacturing processes and technical solutions.Participate in project builds and production verification activities.Coordinate technical issues and activities across cross-functional engineering teams.Support product and manufacturing improvements.Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, project management and other technical stakeholders.Contribute to ensuring that product changes are introduced into production in a controlled and efficient way.We are looking for someone withB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar technical field.Experience from automotive, heavy vehicles or other complex manufacturing environments.Experience in manufacturing engineering, product preparation, industrialization or production engineering.Good understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.Experience working with 3D models and technical drawings.Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong coordination and communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.Professional working proficiency in English.Valid authorization to work in Sweden is required.
