Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Engineer – Contract Type: Contract (remote)Key Technologies: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, SQL, DAX, Power Query, Python About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Engineer to join a global technology team, with a particular focus on the Microsoft data and Power Platform ecosystem.This is a hands-on technical position working primarily with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, alongside other Microsoft Power Platform technologies. You will take ownership of application configuration, administration and implementation while helping deliver scalable solutions that support users across an international organisation. What We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have 4–6 years' experience supporting or administering enterprise business applications, with strong expertise across Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.Key experience should include:Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BIExperience with Microsoft FabricKnowledge of the wider Microsoft Power PlatformEnterprise application administration, configuration and implementationExperience integrating applications and databasesStrong understanding of application architecture and technical standardsScripting/development experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query (M) and/or PythonAbility to work independently and take technical ownershipStrong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and confidence working directly with users and stakeholdersDegree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience ResponsibilitiesTake technical ownership of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric administrationConfigure and implement enterprise applications in line with architectural standardsWork with technical teams to design and deliver new application capabilitiesSupport and maintain existing applications, ensuring they continue to meet business requirementsDevelop and maintain technical documentation for application environments and solutionsSupport integrations between enterprise applications, databases and related systemsTroubleshoot application issues and identify appropriate technical solutionsWork closely with users and technical stakeholders across a global organisationManage technical tasks independently with minimal supervision
