At NG Nordic, Sustainable Materials platform, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of the next chapter of Transparent Metal® - our strategic concept for transparency, traceability, compliance, and sustainability in the metal recycling value chain.
This is not a traditional marketing role. We are looking for a senior professional with a proven track record in marketing, commercial development, business development or strategic communication, and a demonstrated ability to translate ideas and concepts into measurable business value.
You will play a key role in transforming sustainability, ESG requirements, and circular economy principles into compelling value propositions that customers, partners, and industry stakeholders recognize as valuable. By further developing the Transparent Metal® concept, you will help position NG Nordic as a leading voice in responsible and transparent metals across Europe while creating tangible business impact.
Your mission
Transparent Metal® has already established a strong foundation. The next step is to transform it into a differentiated market offering that creates measurable value for customers and strengthens our position in the industry.
You will:Own and further develop the Transparent Metal® concept and brand.Create and communicate a clear value proposition around transparency, traceability, compliance, and sustainable sourcing.Work closely with commercial teams, sustainability experts, and business leaders across the Nordic region.Act as the link between NG Group Communications and the Sustainable Materials platform.Develop content and strategic communication initiatives.Represent NG Nordic at conferences, customer events, and industry forums.Engage with stakeholders across the metal ecosystem, including smelters, automotive industry actors, and sustainability-focused customers.Monitor market trends, customer expectations, and emerging EU regulations related to sustainability, product passports, traceability, and circularity.Help shape how the industry thinks about responsible sourcing and closed-loop materials.Work hybrid, with preferred office locations in either Espoo or Riihimäki. We believe you are a senior professional who combines commercial thinking with strong communication and influencing skills.
You are likely someone who:Has a proven track record of creating business value through marketing, business development, commercial strategy, or customer-focused innovation.Is comfortable working with abstract concepts and transforming them into tangible business value.Can sell an idea, a vision, and a story rather than a physical product.Enjoys building relationships and acting as an ambassador both internally and externally.Is confident speaking to audiences and representing an organization publicly.Brings a proven commercial mindset and understands how to position and monetize differentiated value propositions.Is curious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable navigating uncertainty.Has excellent communication skills in English.Is based in Finland, with possibility to travel. Preferred office location is either Espoo or Riihimäki.Additional advantages:Finnish language skills.Another Nordic language.Experience from recycling, circular economy, metals, smelting, automotive, or industrial sectors.Understanding of ESG, sustainability reporting, compliance, and EU regulatory developments.
