OEM Onboarding & Regulatory Analyst Internship

Biner Data is a young Swedish company based at Lindholmspiren in Gothenburg, supervised by PTS under the EU Data Governance Act. We are the operating layer that keeps vehicle manufacturers compliant with the wave of EU data regulation: RMI, the EU Data Act, the Battery Passport and more.In plain terms: when a car manufacturer is required by law to share data with the independent aftermarket, we carry the vetting, contracts, invoicing and compliance work behind it, so their own teams can stay focused on their core business. Our promise to clients is simple: regulated data, simplified.We came out of Biner Consulting and are backed by Biner Group, but we run as our own company, with our own leadership and our own momentum. That momentum is the point right now. Our client base is growing, new manufacturers are entering the European market and turning to us to carry their compliance load, and we are looking for another sharp mind to grow with us. The Role:This is an internship built for someone at the very start of their career: a recent graduate, or someone close to finishing, who wants to learn a brand new field from the ground up.You will work closely with our co-founder and subject matter expert, John O'Neill. John has spent close to a decade running the commercial, regulatory and data side of automotive information services for premium car brands, from pricing, contracts and invoicing to bulk data files, VIN lookup and APIs. Your job is to learn everything you can from him, and to take real onboarding work off his plate as we bring new manufacturer clients onto the platform. Day to day, you will:• Support the onboarding of new manufacturer clients, from first setup through to go-live• Learn the EU regulations that drive our business (RMI, EU Data Act, Battery Passport) and help turn them into practical steps for clients• Prepare onboarding documents, data catalogues and client-facing materials• Work hands-on with the data itself: bulk data files, VIN lookup and other APIs, and the file formats clients exchange, such as CSV and JSON• Help manage buyer vetting and access as our client base grows• Keep our internal trackers and CRM accurate and current• Join client calls and help follow up on what was agreed We are small, so you will see the whole business rather than one corner of it. The work is real from week one. Who you are: Above all, someone eager to learn. This field is new, the pace is quick, and the person who does well here will be the one who keeps asking questions and picks things up fast.• Eager to learn and quick to get up to speed on unfamiliar ground• Good with people: comfortable with clients, happy to pick up the phone or join a call, and easy to work alongside• Must be comfortable with data: you understand how data is structured, and APIs or common file formats such as CSV and JSON• Comfortable working with AI• A recent university graduate, or someone in their final year, ideally in a field such as economics, data science or international business. • Languages: professional, proficient English is required and is our working language. Professional Swedish is a nice to have.
