Think Ahead Online is the online tutoring division of Think Ahead Education, a leading organisation in the international education sector based in Madrid. The Role We are looking for experienced and knowledgeable online tutors to provide high-quality academic support to students following the IB, IGCSE and A-Level curricula. You will work remotely, primarily delivering one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's academic needs and objectives. Using our structured worksheets, digitised textbooks and established lesson methodology, you will combine theory review, exam-style practice and personalised guidance to help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Our tutors are expected to provide a structured and engaging learning experience while adapting their teaching approach to each student's level, learning style and academic priorities. What You'll Do Deliver engaging and dynamic one-to-one online lessons in your subject area, adapting sessions to each student's individual needs.Use our Lesson, Question and Answer Worksheets to structure sessions around theory review, exam-style practice and targeted revision.Support students with examination preparation, question interpretation and exam technique.Help students strengthen their understanding of key concepts and address identified areas for improvement.Support students preparing for internal assessments and official examinations in accordance with Think Ahead Online's teaching methodology.Where applicable, provide guided support for IB coursework, including Internal Assessments, the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, while ensuring full compliance with academic integrity requirements.Deliver lessons using Google Meet, Notability and Google Drive as core teaching tools.Maintain a proactive, professional and reliable approach when accepting and delivering assigned teaching services.Communicate relevant academic progress and learning needs when required. What We're Looking For Strong subject knowledge in one or more subjects within the IB, IGCSE and/or A-Level curricula.Previous experience teaching, tutoring or providing academic support to secondary or pre-university students.Familiarity with the assessment structure, examination requirements and academic expectations of the relevant curriculum.Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently.A student-centred approach, with the ability to adapt lessons to different learning needs and levels.Confidence using digital teaching tools such as Google Meet, Notability, iPad and Apple Pencil, or equivalent technologies.A reliable, professional and proactive attitude, with consistent availability for teaching assignments.
