Payroll Implementation Consultant – Finland (Remote) | 6 month+ contrtactFull-time | Fully remote | English-speaking role Are you a Finnish payroll specialist with implementation experience who wants to work on a next-generation payroll product? My client, a global payroll technology business, has built a cloud-based payroll calculation engine that recalculates payroll continuously and returns updated results the moment data changes. With SOC1 compliance controls, a full dashboard, and built-in anomaly detection that flags potential payroll errors before they happen, it removes the pressure of traditional processing cycles. They are now looking for an experienced Functional Consultant to lead implementations of the platform in Finland. The RoleYou will own the functional side of client implementations across the full project lifecycle, from kick-off through to go-live and handover:Act as the client-facing functional lead, running kick-off and requirements workshopsCapture Finnish payroll configuration requirements and complete configuration workbooks and questionnairesIdentify deviations from product and process standards and propose alternative solutions, weighing up feasibility and costWork with the Product team to configure the payroll solutionValidate the solution and integrations through testing cycles, including UAT and parallel runsLead data mapping and data validation across systems, and drive issue and defect resolutionDefine workarounds where neededContribute to and update the project planHandle knowledge transfer to Delivery, Operational Payroll and application support teamsWhat You Will BringFunctional consulting or analytical experience within a payroll outsourcing or payroll software environmentStrong knowledge of Finnish payroll, tax and employment legislationHands-on experience of the Finnish payroll implementation lifecycle is essentialConfident client-facing communication, with the ability to document requirements clearlyStakeholder management skills across all levels of a businessA proactive, practical approach to solving client issues and risksStrong attention to detailAdvanced Excel, plus Word and PowerPointFlexibility to work in a global, fast-paced environmentWhy ApplyFully remote roleWork on a modern, cloud-native payroll product rather than legacy systemsReal influence over how implementations are delivered in the Finnish market Interested?
