Platform Engineer

We are seeking experienced Azure Platform Engineers to support a large-scale cloud transformation and platform modernization programme. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure platform engineering, cloud governance, security, networking, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and automated Azure platforms that enable enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications. Assignment DetailsDuration: 9-12 MonthsWorkload: Full-TimeStart Date: ASAP / By AgreementLocation: RemoteGeography: Nordics, Europe/Nearshore, and India/Offshore Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Azure platform architecture and landing zones.Establish cloud governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.Manage and optimize Azure networking and security services.Deploy, configure, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.Design and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation frameworks.Build and manage platform APIs and integration services.Monitor platform performance, security, and operational health.Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.Ensure compliance, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments. Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with:Microsoft AzureAzure Platform ArchitectureLanding Zone Design & ImplementationCloud GovernanceAzure Networking & SecurityAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Identity & Access Management (IAM)Infrastructure Automation (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar)Platform APIs and IntegrationsExperience designing and supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments.Strong understanding of cloud security and operational best practices.Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred ExperienceAzure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or equivalent).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.Knowledge of containerization and cloud-native architectures.Experience with monitoring and observability tools.Exposure to multi-cloud environments is beneficial.
