Product Manager

General Summary:The Tissue Blade Holder Services Product Manager is responsible for overseeing all tissue blade holder-related services and strategic initiatives to support core blade business sales and profitability. This role encompasses tissue blade holder strategy, vibration monitoring management, blade holder profiling management, sensor blade offerings and the development of new or improved blade holder-related products and services. The emphasis of this role is to ensure that BTG’s offerings in this area are consistent, competitive, and support the growth of the core tissue blades business. Responsibilities:Own the CBC Blade Holder strategy end-to-end, aligning with tissue leadership to strengthen market position and support core blade salesLead global delivery of key service lines — Vibration Monitoring (Vigilance), Blade Holder Profiling (PROfile), and Sensor Blades — including technical support, quoting, and implementationDrive new blade holder projects and service innovation (e.g., advanced diagnostics, automated profiling, digital reporting) to grow sales and profitabilityBuild global service capability by developing a skilled technical network and training programs for consistent, high-quality deliveryStandardize and document processes, best practices, and field learnings across regionsAct as SME and cross-functional partner — supporting marketing content, customer engagement, and global/regional Tissue team coordinationResponsible for own personal safety, the safety of the team and those around you.Work in accordance with and enforce compliance with all BTG policies (ex: Safety, Code of Conduct, Commercial Policy, Security Policy and Export Compliance) to maintain BTG reputation and image. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.Attention to detail.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy; prioritize, organize and work independently.Must be available to travel up to 75% of the time. Independently plan and schedule activities and travel in the most efficient and cost-effective fashion.Excellent cross-functional coordination skills, including collaboration with sales, engineering, and regional teams.Good financial acumen and ability to support service quoting and profitability analysis.Capacity to train and effectively transfer technical knowledge to others.Excellent computer skills, strong knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with digital service tools or CRM systems is a plus.Familiar and active user of Computer-Aided-Design tools (like AutoCAD).Strong English skills; French language skills are a plus. Required Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or equivalent).Five or more years of experience within the Tissue Industry.Five or more years of hands-on experience with tissue blade holders, doctor systems, and related services.
