About the roleWe are building gamification as a standalone product area: tournaments and leaderboards, stories, social mechanics, a progressive jackpot, a dedicated track of mechanics for the high-roller segment, and other features. We are looking for someone who will own this area end-to-end — from idea to release and beyond: generating and justifying mechanics, turning them into unambiguous requirements and specifications, maintaining documentation, and tracking the metrics they influence. The role is hybrid: roughly 50% product work (discovery, prioritisation, metrics, experiments) and 50% analysis and documentation (requirements, specifications, processes, acceptance). This is neither a "write specs only" role nor an "ideas only" role. One thing worth calling out separately: over time we want this role to go deeper into product analytics — validating hypotheses with data, running A/B tests, and generating improvements based on results, rather than simply shipping mechanics. ResponsibilitiesGamification – owning the areaDeveloping and maintaining mechanics, for example: leaderboards, tournaments, stories, missions/quests, social gamification (no cash prizes), progressive jackpot.A dedicated track of mechanics for the high-roller and VIP segment – together with the casino team.Describing new ideas and concepts for mechanics (leaderboards, stories, social gamification, progressive jackpot, high-roller mechanics) as structured concepts: objective, target segment, rules, expected impact, success metrics.Building and maintaining the gamification roadmap and backlog: idea generation, concept write-ups, impact estimation, prioritisation.Working out the economics of in-game gamification mechanics (tied to game RTP): accrual rules, jackpot contribution, caps, payout probability and frequency, prize pool cost –together with the maths team.Verifying that mechanics comply with licensing requirements, responsible gaming standards and jurisdictional restrictions in the markets we operate in.Maintaining gamification documentation by game and by brand: which mechanics are enabled, on which providers/games, with which parameters, plus change history.Analysing post-release results, iterating based on data, switching off mechanics that do not perform. Metrics, analytics and experimentsDefining and documenting the product and business metrics for the area: GGR, total bets, total active players, participation in mechanics, retention, ARPU/ARPPU by segment.Owning reporting (dashboards and alerts rather than manual exports).Formulating and validating product hypotheses with data: from hypothesis to metric, from metric to decision.Designing and running A/B tests: hypothesis definition, choice of primary and guardrail metrics, sample size and test duration, interpretation of results, decision to roll out or roll back.Analysing game performance and the impact of gamification on retention: how enabled mechanics affect retention, session frequency and length, engagement and turnover – broken down by game, provider, brand and segment.Generating data-driven improvement proposals – both for the mechanics themselves and for the product overall.Investigating anomalies and drops: pinpointing the cause (mechanic, brand, provider, payment provider, traffic) and escalating with a hypothesis, not just a number.Setting requirements for the BI/data team on new breakdowns, dashboards and tracking events. Requirements and documentationGathering, analysing, clarifying, validating and prioritising business requirements; overseeing implementation and making sure the final solution matches what was specified.Translating business needs into clear, detailed and unambiguous requirements.Producing documentation: BRDs, FRDs, technical specifications for development teams, descriptions of integrations and API contracts.Managing requirement changes: impact assessment, sign-off, support through implementation.Documenting, analysing and visualising business processes and workflows (BPMN, UML).Documenting and analysing the functionality of existing systems, proposing optimisations and improvements, and visualising system scenarios (UML).Analysing platform usability, monitoring competitors, researching UX/UI solutions and proposing improvements; prototyping in Figma.Taking part in testing (UAT): test scenarios, acceptance criteria, feature acceptance. Working with the team and stakeholdersIn this role, the Product Manager is the link between the business and the technical team: product, development, design, QA, Casino, BI, compliance and support.Supporting the product team: removing blockers, answering questions on requirements, backing the team throughout sprints.Presenting solutions and results to stakeholders and working with priorities.
