We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to take genuine ownership of that journey, from the first project brief to launch and beyond. Location: On site Täby, Stockholm. Mips and Koroyd employ today more than 150 employees with 85 being located at the Head Office in Sweden and working in sales, research and development, production, and administration. About the roleAs Project Manager within Product Development, you will lead the development of the product platforms that form the foundation of our global offering. You will own your projects from brief, through development and verification, to launch and project close. You will also remain involved during the first customer projects, supporting the implementation team and ensuring that insights from the market are fed back into the product. You will manage between two and five projects of varying size and complexity in parallel. Working closely with Product Management, you will translate priorities into clear plans and keep projects moving when timelines, resources or technical requirements compete. This is a role for someone who wants to own the project, not simply report on it. What you will doLead product development projects from initial brief, through our tollgate process, to launch and project close.Manage several projects in parallel and make well-founded priority decisions when projects compete for the same resources.Establish and maintain project definitions, plans, budgets, timelines and risk analyses.Prepare decision material and present recommendations to the steering group at each tollgate.Lead cross-functional project teams involving Science, Virtual Test Lab, Operations, physical testing, Engineering, Design and Legal/IP.Drive design reviews and maintain momentum throughout the iterative development cycles required for physical products.Collaborate with suppliers on prototypes, tooling and pilot production, including verification of the first parts produced from new tools.Ensure that product requirements are clearly defined, traceable and verified against test results before each decision gate.Support the implementation team during the first customer projects and translate field feedback into product improvements.Capture and apply lessons learned to continuously improve future projects and ways of working. Who you areYou are a confident and hands-on project leader who creates structure, builds trust and drives progress. You enjoy working close to both technology and people and are comfortable making decisions even when all the answers are not yet available. You understand that successful product development rarely follows a perfectly straight line. You know how to maintain direction through technical challenges, changing priorities and iterative development loops without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:At least three years of experience driving or managing the development of physical products.Experience taking products through multiple development phases, ideally from brief or concept to launch or production.The ability to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining control of scope, priorities, risks and timelines.Experience working in a stage-gate, tollgate or similar structured product development process.Experience preparing decision material and presenting recommendations to management or steering groups.The ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal line authority and create commitment through trust, clarity and collaboration.Sufficient technical confidence to challenge assumptions and understand topics such as production, prototyping, tooling lead times and test cycles.A structured but pragmatic approach and an interest in improving processes as the organisation develops.A self-driven, low-ego mindset and a willingness to take an active role in getting things done.Fluency in spoken and written English. Experience that would be an advantageIt is a plus if you also have experience in one or more of the following areas:Personal protective equipment, product certification or regulatory requirements.Supplier collaboration in Asia.Projects involving simulation and physical testing in parallel.Swedish, spoken and written.Products within sport, cycling, motorcycling, construction or industrial safety.
