Arctvanta Partners Oy is recruiting experienced TIG / WIG 141 welders and industrial pipefitters for the Kemi factory shutdown. Apply individually, with a work partner or as an established team. We are hiring for TWO roles. You do not need to qualify for both. Tell us whether you are applying as a welder, a pipefitter or for both roles. ⚠️ MANDATORY — EXISTING RIGHT TO WORK IN FINLANDYou must already have a valid right to work in Finland in the role you are applying for and be available for an immediate start on the stated project schedule. If a work permit is required, it must already be valid and cover this work in Finland. This urgent assignment is only for applicants who can start without waiting for a new work permit or work-authorisation decision. Your right to work will be verified before starting. 📅 LOCATION, ASSESSMENT & START• Tests and skills assessments: Raahe, Friday–Sunday 9–11 October 2026 (week 41).• Welders: practical TIG 141 welding test. Pipefitters: separate pipefitting skills assessment.• Work location: Kemi, northern Finland — on site, full time.• Work starts in week 42, from 12 October 2026, after successful assessment and document checks.• Shutdown work continues into December; the exact end date will be confirmed. 💶 PAY & PRACTICAL BENEFITS• €18/hour gross basic pay for both roles.• Overtime and Sunday-work compensation paid separately according to the applicable Finnish collective agreement.• €54 daily allowance for each day actually worked, paid tax-free when the applicable Finnish tax-exemption conditions are met.• Accommodation with your own room.• Shared vehicle for work transport.• Work clothing, safety footwear and required protective equipment provided. ✈️ TRAVEL COSTS — PAID UPFRONT BY YOU, REIMBURSED AFTER PASSINGYou pay your travel costs yourself upfront. If you pass the welding test or pipefitting skills assessment, Arctvanta Partners Oy will reimburse the agreed travel costs. Reimbursement is conditional on passing the assessment. Please confirm travel arrangements and reimbursable costs with us before booking. 🕒 WORKING HOURS — POSSIBLE SUNDAY WORKOutside the main shutdown period, the planned schedule is approximately 58 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. During the shutdown, longer shifts and seven-day working weeks, including Saturdays and Sundays, may be scheduled depending on project needs, subject to applicable working-time and rest requirements. Sunday work is therefore possible. The exact schedule, rest arrangements and overtime terms will be confirmed before you start. The €18 hourly rate is the basic rate and does not include overtime premiums or Sunday-work compensation. 🔥 ROLE 1 — TIG / WIG WELDER 141You will weld industrial piping alongside experienced pipefitters.• Practical industrial TIG 141 pipe-welding experience.• Relevant, valid TIG 141 qualifications for the assigned work.• Ability to follow welding drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).• Stainless-steel process piping, including purging, repairs and new installations; materials and work must fall within your qualification scope.• Careful joint preparation, safe working practices and consistent weld quality.• A successful practical welding test in Raahe is required before starting. Qualification scope and test details will be confirmed before travel. 🔧 ROLE 2 — INDUSTRIAL PIPEFITTERYou will prepare and install industrial piping alongside welders.• Practical industrial pipefitting experience and independent working ability.• Independent reading of piping isometric drawings.• Accurate measuring, cutting, bevel preparation and fit-up.• Alignment of pipes, fittings and flanges ready for welding.• Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel piping.TIG 141 welding qualifications are NOT required for pipefitters. Your pipefitting skills will be assessed separately in Raahe. ✅ FOR BOTH ROLES• Reliable attendance, safe working practices and good teamwork.• Sufficient English to understand work and safety instructions.• Required safety cards.• Mandatory: an existing, valid right to work in Finland for this role, including a valid work permit where required, and availability to start immediately on the stated schedule. 🚀 OPPORTUNITIES AFTER KEMIWe are looking for people we can work with beyond one shutdown. Workers who demonstrate strong skills, reliability and quality in Kemi will be considered first for suitable follow-on assignments.
