QC Planning Officer

We are seeking a QC Planning & Scheduling Specialist to lead the planning and coordination of Quality Control activities, ensuring timely analytical testing, optimal resource utilization, and uninterrupted support of manufacturing and commercial operations. In this important role, you will be responsible for developing and managing Quality Control schedules, coordinating laboratory resources, monitoring analytical workflows, and ensuring testing activities are completed in line with production timelines and customer requirements. You will work closely with Quality Control, Production, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure testing priorities are aligned with business needs while maintaining operational efficiency. This position is based to Cyprus - Limassol, we offer relocation support, helping you to seamlessly transition. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate daily Quality Control analysis schedules based on Quality Control, Production, Sales, and business requirements.Prioritize laboratory activities to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery of analytical results.Develop detailed schedules for the completion of testing activities while optimizing laboratory resources, equipment utilization, and workforce planning.Monitor and coordinate raw material receipts to ensure appropriate testing schedules are in place.Determine resource requirements, including personnel, equipment, and laboratory capacity, to meet operational demands.Ensure all necessary materials, consumables, and supporting resources are available to execute laboratory plans successfully.Coordinate and schedule shifts according to workload requirements and business priorities.Monitor analytical workflows and testing progress to ensure timely completion of analyses.Track received samples and manage testing priorities to ensure agreed turnaround times are achieved.Maintain and update departmental planning tools and databases, including pending orders and testing schedules.Prepare and communicate status updates, planning reports, and key performance indicators to relevant stakeholders.Monitor export and shipment plans to ensure laboratory testing activities support timely product release and customer deliveries.Create, adjust, and optimize QC schedules in response to changing business needs and operational priorities.Collaborate closely with Senior Analysts, Supervisors, and laboratory teams regarding testing schedules, analytical results, OOS investigations, deviations, and operational challenges.Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory planning efficiency, productivity, and service levels.Contribute to the harmonization and standardization of planning and scheduling processes across laboratory operations. What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory, Quality Control, planning, scheduling, or coordination role within the pharmaceutical or related industry.Strong understanding of laboratory operations and analytical testing workflows.Strong coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across departments and varying levels of seniority.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment.Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate schedules, priorities, and operational updates.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Experience with planning, scheduling, or resource management tools will be considered an advantage.Good command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
