Quantity Surveyor LocationNorthern Sweden Contract TypeAnnually Renewable Contract BenefitsDaily RateAccommodation providedTransportation providedPaid Holidays Key ResponsibilitiesSupport contract administration, including preparation of tender documentation, contracts, budgets, and counterproposals.Assist the Contract Manager with administration of project contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting management of disputes, changes, or applications for payment.Work closely with cost control disciplines to review and prepare thorough cost estimates for the project, including materials, labour, and equipment.Monitor contract expenditures and ensure compliance with cost control procedures.Support review of invoices, including checking substantiation and supporting documentation such as progress claimed, timesheets, third party invoices, and completion certificates.Assist in preparation of detailed cost reports, including progress reports, cost forecasts, and final accounts.Provide input into tracking and reporting on contract cash flows and financial status.Identify potential financial or contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.Undertake regular site visits to review progress claimed, conduct remeasurements, ensure adherence to contract terms, and validate costs.Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a focus on large scale EPCM projects.Proven experience working on construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods of measurement, cost estimation, financial management, and contract law.Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to read and extract data from DWG files and other technical drawings.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience working in Sweden and familiarity with the AMA system (Allmän Material- och Arbetsbeskrivning/General Material and Work Descriptions).
