The expected project start date is January 2027. We are looking for a Regional Editorial Lead based in Belgium and Greece to support the project.The Regional Editorial Lead will oversee the quality and timely delivery of media monitoring content across assigned countries. The role involves reviewing and editing content prepared by Junior Editors, ensuring high editorial standards, and managing the workflow to meet strict delivery deadlines. ResponsibilitiesReview and edit news summaries prepared by Junior Editors before they are syndicated.Ensure the accuracy, clarity, grammar, and overall quality of texts in line with editorial standards.Review and approve country-specific content batches before delivery.Monitor editorial workflows across assigned countries and regions.Ensure all internal and external delivery deadlines are met.Troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate editorial workflows across assigned regions.Provide guidance and feedback to Junior Editors to ensure consistent quality and adherence to editorial requirements. QualificationsNative-level proficiency in the local language(s) relevant to the assigned countries and fluent professional English, both written and spoken.Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in media monitoring, journalism, communications, editing, proofreading, or multilingual editorial services.Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Languages, Translation, Media Studies, or a related field.Proven experience reviewing, editing, and proofreading professional contentExcellent written a strong command of grammar, style and editorial standards.Strong knowledge of the relevant local media and political landscape.Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy, consistency and quality.Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities while working under tight deadlines.Experience coordinating or supervising editorial workflows would be considered an advantage.Ability to work independently and ensure delivery against strict deadlines.
