Research Analyst (Europe)

Headquartered in Dubai and Singapore, we serve as a bridge between academic research and practical policymaking, delivering evidence-based analysis to governments, international organizations, and private-sector leaders navigating an increasingly interconnected world. Key Responsibilities 1. Track and analyze governance, legislative, regulatory, and political developments across Europe. Assess how political and institutional shifts affect priority sectors such as energy and critical minerals, and what they mean for the investment climate, trade relations, and development finance. 2. Review and synthesize official documents, stakeholder positions, and policy trends, and turn them into high-quality, in-depth reports on topics such as international relations, energy transition policy, public financial management, infrastructure finance, and digital economy regulation. 3. Provide strategic policy advice to support project development, risk assessment, and investment decisions.

Who We're Looking For 1. Hands-on experience in policy research, legal practice, compliance, or strategic consulting in a European context—ideally within EU institutions, multinational organizations, or subnational government. 2. A strong, demonstrable grasp of the political economy and policy landscape of at least one major European country or of the EU institutions. Experience living and working in the region is a strong plus. 3. Sharp analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to distill large volumes of material into clear, actionable conclusions. A natural collaborator with strong interpersonal skills. 4. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
