This role involves welcoming guests on arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, and providing information about resort facilities, local activities, and excursions. The Resort Host supports daily operations by coordinating bookings, answering guest inquiries in person and via phone or email, and ensuring common areas and accommodations are presented to a high standard. Day-to-day tasks also include handling basic administrative duties, assisting with activity logistics, collaborating closely with guides and other team members, and responding promptly to guest feedback or issues. The role requires a friendly, professional approach and a strong focus on creating a positive guest experience throughout their stay.Qualifications Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests.Experience with front desk or reception duties, including managing reservations, check-in/check-out, and basic administrative tasks.Effective communication skills in English; additional languages such as Finnish or other European languages are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Rovaniemi, including flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required.Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfort working in outdoor and winter conditions, with an interest in nature-based or Arctic tourism considered beneficial.Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or guest-facing roles is preferred, but candidates with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply.Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or booking systems are an advantage.
