emagine is seeking an experienced Risk Analyst with strong expertise in capital management, ICAAP, and Recovery Planning. The consultant will play a key role in reviewing, challenging, and supporting the bank's capital management framework while providing independent oversight and regulatory guidance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience within the banking sector, particularly in capital adequacy, prudential regulation, and risk management, and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across Risk, Treasury, and Finance functions.

Start: ASAP (or within 1 month)

Duration: 1 year to start with

Location: Stockholm, min 2-3 days/week onsite

About The Assignment

Review and challenge the development and maintenance of the Recovery PlanProvide oversight and challenge of the Recovery Planning processReview and assess the technical interpretation and application of capital regulationsProvide input, review, and challenge of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)Support capital management activities and ensure alignment with regulatory expectationsEngage with senior stakeholders across Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Regulatory functionsProvide analytical assessments and recommendations related to capital adequacy and risk management

Required Experience & Competencies

Proven experience developing, reviewing, or challenging ICAAPsStrong experience with Recovery Plans and Recovery Planning frameworksSolid understanding of EBA capital management requirements and prudential regulationsExperience within:Second Line Risk functions, and/orTreasury / Capital Management functionsStrong analytical and quantitative skillsAbility to challenge constructively and work with senior stakeholdersExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities Preferred Qualifications

Experience with securitisation programmesKnowledge of regulatory capital calculations and capital optimisationSQL skills and ability to perform data analysis and reportingExperience within large banks or financial institutions operating under European banking regulations

The successful candidate will be comfortable reviewing and challenging complex capital adequacy assessments while working collaboratively with business and risk stakeholders.
