Sales Manager We are looking for a technically strong and commercially driven Sales Manager to grow WE Tech’s business globally. The role covers both our Shaft Generator Solutions and Electrification Solutions, ranging from our established variable-speed shaft generator business to hybrid and full-electric propulsion, energy storage integration, DC power distribution and shore power solutions. The Sales Manager will work directly with shipowners, shipyards, ship designers and technology partners to develop technically and commercially competitive solutions and convert customer needs into successful projects. Responsibilities The Sales Manager is responsible for designated Sales projects and is reporting to the Sales Director. The Sales Manager is expected to actively sell and develop business across both WE Tech’s Merchant Marine and Electrification Solutions, combining commercial responsibility with sufficient technical competence to develop solutions together with customers and WE Tech Engineering. Actively sell and promote WE Tech’s complete solution portfolio across both Merchant Marine and Electrification businessIdentify customer needs and develop technically and commercially competitive system solutions together with customers and WE Tech EngineeringUnderstand customer vessel electrical architecture, operational requirements and interfacesPrepare and negotiate Technical Agreements with customersNegotiate and sign Sales Agreements within given authorizationRepresent WE Tech Solutions at trade shows, customer meetings and industry eventsPrepare quotations, technical proposals and other sales documentationCalculate and keep up to date Sales project-specific Sales CalculationsIdentify requirements from customer technical specifications, both documented and verballyRegister and mitigate Sales project risksBudget responsibility for designated Sales projectsRequest quotations from sub-suppliers and technology partnersEnsure quality, technical compliance and validity of sub-supplier quotationsCoordinate solution definition with Engineering, Product Management, Sourcing and relevant technology partnersBe part of the Sales Team and peer review related documentationCommunicate directly with customers and support technical and commercial discussions throughout the sales processCommunicate Sales projects with Delivery Project Management and EngineeringResponsible for handover of Sales projects to Delivery Project Management upon closingEnsure timely submission of technically correct and commercially competitive quotationsDevelop and maintain Sales-related documentationContribute to Sales network and customer relationship developmentCollect and register market and competitor intelligenceMaintain and keep Sales project data up to date in CRM Competence requirementsM.Sc or B.Sc in Electrical, Automation, Marine or equivalent EngineeringMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, marine electrical systems, system integration or similar tasksGood understanding of marine electrical power systems, power conversion, drives and system integrationAbility to understand electrical single-line diagrams, technical specifications and system interfacesCommercial mindset and ability to translate customer technical requirements into competitive solutionsFluency in English, written and spokenBusiness-minded and result-drivenWillingness to travel internationallyStrong negotiation and customer communication skillsAble to perform under pressure and time constraintsExcellent teamwork and communication skills in multicultural environmentsAbility to take responsibility and make decisions independently Strong advantagesAbility to prepare and modify P&I diagramsExperience with hybrid and/or full-electric marine propulsion systemsKnowledge of ESS/battery systems, shore charging, DC distribution, propulsion drives and electrical power managementExperience in marine system integration and multidisciplinary vessel projectsExperience working directly with shipowners, shipyards, ship designers and equipment suppliers Please apply before 23.10.2026.
