Project Sales Manager - Europe The OpportunityA leading international manufacturer within the electrical infrastructure and cable management sector is looking to appoint a Project Sales Manager to strengthen its commercial operations across Europe.This is a key role focused on expanding the customer base, developing new project opportunities and driving commercial growth across selected European markets.The successful candidate will have a strong commercial and technical background, excellent communication skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to developing customer relationships and winning new business. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and expand customer and distributor networks across selected European markets.Identify, develop and secure new project opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.Work closely with internal Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Support the development and delivery of complex and large-scale projects.Conduct customer visits and lead client meetings.Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and follow up on quotations.Attend industry trade fairs and events alongside the Marketing team.Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to the wider sales team.Prepare sales budgets in collaboration with senior leadership.Coordinate market activity with colleagues across the wider European business.Take responsibility for pricing and commercial negotiations. About YouTechnical Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.Minimum 7 years' experience in a comparable commercial/sales role.Fluent in Dutch and English; additional European languages would be advantageous.Strong commercial and business development background.Experience managing projects, customers and complex sales processes.Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and proactive approach.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Flexible and adaptable approach to working across different markets and stakeholders. Your First 12 Months - First 3 monthsDevelop an understanding of the market strategy and customer landscape.Build relationships with internal stakeholders and key customers.Become familiar with the company's products, projects and sales processes. First 6 monthsTake ownership of customer portfolios and strategic projects.Contribute to trade fairs, marketing activity and business development initiatives.Provide market and customer insights to support future growth. First 12 monthsIndependently manage complex sales projects.Drive growth across selected European markets.Develop and execute strategic sales plans.Become a key contributor to the organisation's wider commercial success.
