SAP GTS Consultant – SAP ABAPRole SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant with strong SAP ABAP development expertise to support global trade compliance, customs management, and SAP integration requirements.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP GTS functional processes combined with the ability to design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot ABAP solutions and integrations supporting international trade operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP GTS – FunctionalImplement, configure, and support SAP GTS solutions.Work across:Compliance ManagementCustoms ManagementRisk ManagementTrade Preference ManagementSupport end-to-end global trade processes including:Sanctioned Party List (SPL) ScreeningEmbargo ChecksExport License ManagementCustoms DeclarationsIntrastat/Extrastat ReportingAnalyze business requirements and translate them into SAP GTS solutions.Perform configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize trade compliance processes.SAP ABAP – TechnicalDevelop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and data conversions related to SAP GTS.Hands-on development using:BAPIsBADIsUser ExitsRFCsIDOCsEnhancement FrameworkDevelop integrations between SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS.Troubleshoot and optimize existing ABAP developments.Perform performance tuning and code-quality improvements.Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.Required SkillsSAP GTSStrong SAP GTS implementation and support experience.Strong knowledge of:Compliance ManagementCustoms ManagementRisk ManagementTrade Preference ManagementUnderstanding of global trade regulations and customs processes.SAP ABAPStrong hands-on SAP ABAP development.Experience with:ReportsEnhancementsBADI/User ExitsSmart Forms / Adobe FormsALE/IDOCRFC/BAPIOData ServicesCDS Views – preferredSAP GTS integration with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.Preferred SkillsSAP S/4HANA experience.SAP GTS 11.x or SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA.EDI and middleware integration.SAP Fiori.SAP BTP.SAP GTS Certification.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent stakeholder communication.Ability to work independently and in a global team.Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
