Satellite Harness Technician / Spacecraft Electrical Harness Assembler

MissionManufacture, assemble, inspect, and integrate electrical harnesses for spacecraft platforms and payloads in compliance with aerospace and space industry standards. The technician shall be capable of working autonomously from engineering documentation and ensuring the highest levels of quality, reliability, and workmanship required for satellite applications.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and manufacturingdocumentation. Manufacture, assemble, and inspect spacecraft electrical harnesses, including wirepreparation, crimping, soldering, connector assembly, shielding, and harness dressing. Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, and quality inspections in accordance withspace and aerospace standards. Integrate platform and payload harnesses within the spacecraft, including routing, securing,and connecting harnesses to onboard equipment and subsystems. Ensure compliance with applicable workmanship, quality, traceability, grounding, bonding,and safety requirements throughout all manufacturing and integration activities.

Profil Recherché

Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite or spacecraft electrical harness manufacturingand integration.

Mandatory: Proven experience working in cleanroom environments Strong knowledge of ESA, ECSS, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or equivalent aerospace workmanshipstandards. Experience with crimping, soldering, shield termination, connector assembly, and harnessintegration. Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and harness drawings. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and traceability requirements. Proficient in the use of computer tools and digital manufacturing documentation (workinstructions, technical drawings, ERP/MES systems, and Microsoft Office applications). Ability to communicate effectively in English is mandatory, both written and spoken.Formation souhaitée ESA-certified or aerospace-certified crimping and harness assembly training. Familiarity with ECSS standards and space project quality requirements.
