About the role as Security EngineerAs a security engineer at Assured, you'll help our clients develop and implement a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), supported by automated CI/CD pipelines and tools. You'll also:advise and support our clients' development teams on security matters and architectural choices.analyze and manage vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for patching and mitigation.act as a Security Champion within client development teams to foster a security-aware culture.participate in design and code reviews to ensure security and adherence to best practices.stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.provide training and conduct workshops. Your profileYou have several years experience working as a developer, tester or within a security role. You are used to working independently, but enjoy working in a team where knowledge is shared. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite for the role.We also believe you have:experience working with application security and SDLCthe ability to communicate security concepts and recommendations to developers and other stakeholders.experience with using and integrating security tools in CI/CD environments.It's a plus if you have:A certification such as ISC2 CSSLP or equivalentA solid understanding of security architecture and principles.The ability to lead a team through an assignmentAn interest in internal knowledge sharingAs a person, you are:Structured and self-drivenCurious and analyticalCooperative and communicative
