We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer for a long-term assignment with a large organization in Stockholm. The role is focused on further developing and scaling internal AI solutions used to automate document-heavy processes and improve existing ways of working.

This is a broad role where you will combine hands-on development with technical ownership and close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization. You will take ownership of an existing AI solution, strengthen its architecture and continue developing it as the solution is introduced to more teams and use cases.

As Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for both the technical development and long-term evolution of the solution. You will work independently while maintaining close dialogue with users, stakeholders, IT security and management.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Taking ownership of an existing AI solution, including its codebase, architecture and data flowDeveloping and improving AI-driven solutions for document extraction, classification and automationWorking hands-on with Python, SQL and LLM-based technologiesBuilding robust and maintainable solutions with proper testing, logging, documentation and version controlScaling solutions to support additional teams, users and data sourcesWorking with Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including access and identity managementGathering requirements from different parts of the organization and translating them into technical solutionsManaging priorities, backlog and technical roadmapCollaborating with stakeholders and management to communicate technical possibilities, limitations and business valueEnsuring solutions meet requirements related to information security and data handlingIdentifying new opportunities where AI and automation can improve existing processes About you We are looking for someone who combines strong technical experience with excellent communication skills. You are comfortable taking technical ownership, but also enjoy working closely with people outside of engineering.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a senior developer with several years of experience in software development, ideally around 5–10 years. You have worked hands-on with AI and LLM-based solutions and are comfortable taking technical ownership from early concept through production and long-term development.

You Should Have Strong Experience In

Python and SQLLLM-based solutions, including areas such as RAG, prompt design and document extractionMicrosoft Azure and Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, access management and SharePointVersion control, CI/CD and modern development practicesJust as important as your technical background is your ability to work closely with the business. You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders and senior decision-makers and can explain complex technical topics in a clear and practical way.Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have previously developed or introduced internal AI solutions within a larger organization. Experience with tools and technologies such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Logic Apps or Power Platform is also valuable.Experience with OCR and large-scale document processing, agent-based AI solutions, system integrations or information security related to AI and data is considered beneficial. We also value experience from digitalization and automation initiatives where established processes have been replaced or improved through new technology. Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Product Owner, particularly within a larger or regulated organization, is an advantage
