Senior Backend Developer

At Evam, we build mission-critical technology for police, ambulance, fire & rescue, and other public safety organisations. Our software helps first responders manage complex, time-critical incidents every day. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help build and shape the systems that need to work flawlessly when it matters most. You’ll work across our backend platform using Kotlin, Spring Boot 4, MongoDB and Kubernetes on Azure AKS. You’ll have real influence over architecture, data modelling, reliability, observability and how we operate services in production.This is a hands-on senior role with significant autonomy. You won’t just implement tickets — you’ll help set the engineering standard for the team.
