Senior Business Analyst – Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll expertise to support the assessment and preparation of a payroll transformation initiative for our prestigious client. Key ResponsibilitiesReview PeopleSoft Global Payroll documentation and gather business requirements.Perform a fit-gap analysis between PeopleSoft Global Payroll and Oracle Cloud Payroll.Identify standard Oracle capabilities and gaps requiring configuration, extensions or integrations.Assess key payroll areas, including retro-pay, gross-to-net calculations, payments and statutory requirements.Evaluate the impact on Core HR, Benefits, Pensions, Finance, Reporting and Compliance.Define the implementation phases, dependencies, timeline and estimated workload.Assess organisational readiness and identify risks, prerequisites and mitigation measures.Recommend implementation, migration and testing strategies and prepare decision-support documentation. Mandatory RequirementsProven expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, including payroll elements, balances, Fast Formulas, costing, retro-pay and off-cycle payrolls.Experience conducting fit-gap analyses for migrations to Oracle Cloud Payroll.Participation in at least one complete Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation for a large or highly regulated organisation.Experience with payroll data cleansing, migration planning and historical payroll results conversion.Experience defining payroll testing strategies, including parallel payroll runs.Knowledge of end-to-end payroll operations in a public-sector or similarly regulated environment.Ability to produce high-quality functional and technical documentation.Strong communication and presentation skills in English. Nice to HaveHands-on experience with HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud and Payroll Flows.Knowledge of PeopleSoft Global Payroll, including element and bracket configuration, retroactivity logic, pay calendars, segmentation and custom extensions.Ability to explain complex payroll concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Assignment DetailsWorking arrangement: Full-remote from a Country within the European UnionExpected start date: 1 October 2026.Expected end date: 31 January 2027.Possible extension: Up to 50% of the initial duration, subject to project needs.Working language: English.
