The Role: We are seeking an experienced Business Central / AL Developer on behalf of our client. In this role, you will focus on developing and scaling Cash 365, a flagship banking solution built specifically for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will bridge deep ERP financial engineering with modern banking networks, authoring high-quality AL extensions, connecting external banking APIs via OAuth2, writing automated AL test suites, and managing CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and AL Go. What we are looking for: 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience developing custom extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code, with a firm command of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system architecture.Extensive functional and technical experience working with Business Central Finance modules, specifically General Ledger (GL), Bank Accounts, Payment Journals, and payment execution workflows.Proven experience integrating Business Central with third-party web services and banking APIs using RESTful architectures, JSON, and OAuth2 authentication protocols.Hands-on experience writing unit and integration tests using the AL Test Framework, implementing mock solutions, and enforcing strict code coverage standards.Daily experience managing version control and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions, AL Go for GitHub, and Microsoft cloud sandbox environments.Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours). Nice-to-Have & Plus Skills Practical experience navigating Microsoft AppSource submission, validation workflows, and AppSource technical compliance.Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and managing secrets via Azure Key Vault.Strong understanding of financial data security and privacy regulations, including PSD2 and GDPR.Experience with automated payment formats (e.g., SEPA, ISO 20022 / pain.001 / camt.053).
Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust Business Central extensions in AL to support real-time payments, automated bank reconciliation, and cash management workflows.Architect secure integrations between Business Central and external financial networks, leveraging OAuth2, REST endpoints, and Azure Key Vault for secure credential handling.Author comprehensive test codeunits using the AL Test Framework, utilizing mocks and test isolation to ensure continuous stability across updates.Manage development, testing, and release cycles using GitHub Actions and AL Go, maintaining clean deployment paths across sandbox and production environments.Ensure all extension code adheres to Microsoft best practices, performance guidelines, and technical requirements for AppSource marketplace certification.
