Instabee operates at the cross-section of hardware, proprietary software, and physical networks. As our Senior Business Controller in Finland, you will go far beyond traditional reporting. We aren't looking for a "bean counter"—we are looking for a true commercial business partner. You will look at the business holistically: digging deep into what drives overall profitability, uncovering root causes behind operational costs, and turning raw data into proactive, strategic solutions.
In this role, you will be a direct strategic advisor to the Country Manager and the local leadership team, bringing a sharp financial perspective to complex, high-impact decisions that shape our growth in Finland.
What you’ll do
Drive commercial & operational insight: Look at the business as a whole to analyze what truly drives revenue, profitability, and cost. Conduct deep dives into unit economics and logistics networks to identify growth opportunities and efficiency gains.
Guide strategic decisions: Act as a strategic sparring partner to local leadership. Build clear financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for new commercial initiatives and operational rollouts.Lead financial planning & performance: Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance follow-up across the Finnish market, ensuring performance aligns with long-term strategy.Challenge & innovate: Rethink traditional ways of working, question assumptions, and propose forward-thinking, data-driven ideas to build scalable profitability.Build modern tools: Develop clear KPIs, dynamic dashboards, and decision-making frameworks that empower fast, well-informed local execution.Connect the organization: Serve as the strategic bridge connecting Finnish operations, the broader finance organization, and international teams across Instabee.

Experience with (or an eagerness to learn) SQL, BI tools, or modern financial planning software is a major plus.Background: Experience in business controlling, FP&A, management consulting, corporate finance, or a similar analytical environment.Languages: Professional fluency in both Finnish and English is required.
