Senior DFT Engineer – Fully Remote | Freelance / B2B We are currently looking for an experienced Senior DFT (Design for Test) Engineer to join an advanced semiconductor development project on a fully remote, freelance/B2B basis. The successful engineer will work on DFT implementation and verification for complex ASIC/SoC designs, collaborating with experienced digital design and verification teams. Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement DFT strategies for complex ASIC / SoC designs• Scan insertion, scan compression and scan-chain implementation• Develop and execute ATPG flows and analyse test coverage• Implement and verify MBIST / memory test solutions• Support JTAG / Boundary Scan implementation• Perform DFT verification, debugging and coverage analysis• Analyse and resolve timing, test coverage and DFT rule violations• Work closely with RTL Design, Verification, Physical Design and Test Engineering teams• Support DFT activities throughout the ASIC development lifecycle through to tape-out

We are looking for• Strong professional experience in DFT / Design for Testability• Solid background in ASIC, SoC or digital IC development• Hands-on experience with scan insertion and ATPG• Experience with MBIST / LBIST and memory testing techniques• Knowledge of JTAG / IEEE 1149.x / Boundary Scan• Experience with industry-standard DFT tools such as Siemens Tessent, Synopsys DFTMAX / TestMAX / TetraMAX or similar• Good understanding of RTL, synthesis, timing and digital design flows• Verilog / SystemVerilog knowledge• Experience working on complex semiconductor designs from implementation through silicon / tape-out is highly valued Nice to have• Experience with advanced-node ASIC / SoC projects• Experience with low-power DFT methodologies• Python, Tcl, Perl or other scripting experience• Exposure to photonics, optical communications or mixed semiconductor/photonics environments would be advantageous 📍 Location: Fully Remote💼 Engagement: Freelance / B2B🌍 Candidates: Europe / international candidates able to work remotely can be considered📅 Duration: Long-term project If you are an experienced DFT Engineer interested in a fully remote semiconductor project, please apply or contact me directly to discuss the opportunity in more detail. #DFT #DesignForTest #ASIC #SoC #Semiconductor #VLSI #ATPG #MBIST #Tessent #DigitalDesign #ICDesign #Freelance #RemoteJobs
