Senior Game Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimise game features with a strong focus on performance (FPS, CPU usage)Work closely with the game engine, contributing to its evolution and improvementsPropose and implement efficient algorithms and technical solutionsDesign and write unit tests to ensure code quality and stabilityBuild tools and scripts to improve development efficiencyCollaborate with a team of developers, contributing to a culture of openness and agilityActively participate in the Engineering Community, sharing knowledge and ideas

4+ years of experience in JavaScript UI client development in a commercial environmentStrong expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)Solid understanding of Canvas/WebGL rendering cyclesDeep understanding of the Event Loop and synchronous vs asynchronous approachesExperience in cross-browser developmentStrong knowledge of OOP principles and game programming patternsExperience with GitStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetProduct-first approach with a proactive attitudeSelf-sufficient, results-driven, and eager to learn

Understanding of performance optimisation, memory management, and threadingExperience in game developmentFamiliarity with Spine animations and TexturePackerExperience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD processesExperience with unit testing frameworksFamiliarity with Jira and ConfluenceBasic knowledge of VueExperience in full-stack developmentUnderstanding of Scrum workflows
