Senior Python Software Engineer – Azure, CI/CD & Developer ProductivityAbout the AssignmentYou will play a hands-on role in improving developer workflows, building internal tooling, and driving automation across the software development lifecycle. This is a cross-functional engineering role where you'll collaborate with multiple teams to improve delivery quality and engineering productivity.This is not a pure Machine Learning position, nor is it a traditional platform administration role. Instead, we're looking for a pragmatic software engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, building automation, and creating long-term value for engineering teams.Responsibilities- Develop automation tools and internal engineering solutions using Python- Design and maintain reusable GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows- Improve developer productivity through scalable automation and engineering best practices- Work with Azure-based data platforms, including Databricks and Spark- Support data-oriented delivery and engineering workflows- Collaborate with software engineers and platform teams to continuously improve development processes- Contribute to high-quality, maintainable, and scalable engineering solutions Required Qualifications- Strong Python programming skills with experience in automation and production-grade engineering- Hands-on experience with Azure data platform technologies, including:Azure DatabricksApache SparkKafkaData quality validationPower BI- Experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions and reusable GitHub Workflows- Solid Docker experience in daily development- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams- EU citizenship Nice to HaveExperience with one or more of the following is considered a strong advantage:- AI-related technologies, including MCP, agent-based solutions, or AI-assisted engineering workflows- GitHub CLI (gh) and GitHub REST APIs- Artifact management platforms such as JFrog Artifactory or similar enterprise tools- Bash and/or PowerShell scripting- Git LFS and repository management best practices- Self-hosted GitHub Runners- GitHub Enterprise Server- Troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments Assignment Details- Location: Lund, Sweden- Work model: On-site
