About the Company We are currently seeking Editorial Board Members for “Current Functional Foods”. Current Functional Foods is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding of functional foods (both conventional and novel foods) and their role in human health and disease prevention. The journal publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research on the bioactive properties of food ingredients, their mechanisms of action, and their applications in promoting health and preventing chronic conditions. It serves as a platform for innovative research, reviews, perspectives, and case reports that explore the interactions between diet and health, particularly through the consumption of functional foods. We are committed to providing evidence-based insights on how functional foods can be used in everyday nutrition to support and improve health outcomes across diverse populations. About the Role Actively contribute to the development and growth of the journal by providing valuable scholarly input, including the selection of topics, reviewers, and authors. Contribute/solicit Special Thematic Issues on a trending topic (one thematic issue every year). Review articles submitted to the journal (at least thrice a year) in your area of expertise. Qualifications Scientist or researcher (PhD) with experience in all areas of the bioactive properties of food ingredients, their mechanisms of action, and their applications in promoting health and preventing chronic conditions.At least 5 years of experience in peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers.Verifiable record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in WOS Core Collection and/or Scopus.Ability to communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders in the English language. Required Skills Experience in all areas of the bioactive properties of food ingredients.Strong peer-reviewing, editing, and writing skills.Effective communication skills in English. Preferred Skills Experience with thematic issues and special topics.Networking skills with professionals and scholars.
