Senior Security Project Engineer (EMEA) Role Overview Our client, a global provider of enterprise-level physical security solutions for mission-critical facilities, is seeking Senior Security Project Engineers to work on a wide array of ongoing projects across EMEA for high-value clients within their portfolio. Travel Expectation and Compensation This is a travel-intensive role where you will get the chance to work across multiple high-profile projects at high-security / data centre facilities in a wide array of European countries, including Germany, Belgium, Ireland, and Finland to name a few. If you enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures (whilst having all travel, accommodation, and food compensated for!), this could be a brilliant opportunity for you. Typical rota: 3-4 weeks on, 1 week off Salary: up to €85,000 per annum (DOE) + benefits outlined above + additional standard company benefits Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements and performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervisionLeading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety auditsInstalling and maintaining equipment at both a local and global level, as per design packagesProgramming and installing head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systemsTroubleshooting and isolating both systems and / or hardware at both a local and global levelLeading on-site software commissioning and testingLeading inspections, evaluations, and inventoryPerforming take-off project drawingsCreating, documenting, and tracking RFIsDesign assistance and feedbackDocumenting daily reports and project progressCommunicating project and team member issues / concerns to managementCreating and managing project schedule integration of intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systemsForecasting and managing project labour hoursCommunicating effectively with Supervisors and subordinatesGuiding and mentoring Technicians Experience Required 8+ years of electronics installation and / or maintenance experience for multiple systems and with multiple customer programs (with at least 3 years of this experience being within the Electronic Security Systems space)Strong oral, written, and presentation skillsDemonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated time management and organisation skills to meet deadlines and quality objectivesStrong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Skills are a plus Key Requirements Hold a valid driver's license; the position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicleHappy to stay away from home for 3-4 weeks (on average) at any one time Qualifications Vendor certifications in multiple intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems (C-CURE, Lenel, Identiv / Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Bosch DIVAR, Aiphone, FFT, Windows operating systems) and experience in installing these systems.
