Senior Rust Engineer (Russian-Speaking) | Quantitative Trading | Fully Remote I’m working with a highly profitable prop trading firm looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to join the team building its core trading platform. The business operates across both digital assets and traditional financial markets, with a strong engineering culture and a large production Rust codebase. Previous trading experience is not required. Responsibilities Build core trading-platform components in RustWork on exchange connectivity, data pipelines and algorithmic trading infrastructureImprove latency, throughput, reliability and determinismBuild observability into production systems through metrics, tracing and alertingInvestigate production issues and drive fixes through to resolutionContribute to architecture, feature design and technical decision-makingBuild and maintain automated, integration and performance testing Skills & experience 5+ years building performance-sensitive or highly reliable systemsStrong commercial Rust experienceConcurrency and parallel programmingDistributed systemsStrong understanding of software architecture and performance optimisationComfortable owning systems through to productionFluent in Russian What’s on offer Fully remote internationallyHigh engineering ownership with very little bureaucracyNo Quantitative trading experience required - great way to get in to the industryLarge-scale production Rust environment Reach out to Chris Williams with any questions
