Senior Solution Architect

At YORA, we’re growing our architecture capability and are looking for an experienced Senior IT / Solution Architect who can turn complex business and technical needs into secure, scalable and sustainable solutions.

You’ll work in environments where systems, integrations, infrastructure, cloud, security and business requirements all need to come together – and where architecture needs to work not only on paper, but in reality.

As a Senior IT / Solution Architect at YORA, you’ll take a key role in shaping technical solutions in complex IT environments.

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure, security and external suppliers to understand requirements, evaluate alternatives and define the architecture needed to move forward.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with everything from new system implementations and integrations to modernization of existing platforms and larger digital transformation initiatives.

Design and develop solution and IT architecturesTranslate business requirements into technical solutionsAnalyse complex system landscapes, dependencies and information flowsDesign integrations between systems, platforms and servicesDefine target architecture, technical principles and roadmapsSupport larger system implementations and modernization initiativesEvaluate technical solutions, platforms and suppliersWork closely with development, infrastructure, cloud and security teamsEnsure security, privacy and scalability are considered from the startCommunicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we’re looking for

We Believe You Have

Several years of experience within IT, including solid experience in an IT Architect, Solution Architect or similar roleExperience designing solutions in large and complex IT environmentsStrong understanding of system architecture, integrations and information flowsExperience from larger system implementations, modernization or transformation projectsBroad technical understanding across applications, infrastructure, cloud and securityExperience working with multiple stakeholders and external suppliersThe ability to move comfortably between strategic discussions and technical detailProfessional proficiency in Swedish and English

Experience with one or several of the following is a plus:

Azure and Microsoft 365APIs, integration platforms and event-driven architectureCloud and hybrid environmentsIdentity and access managementCybersecurity and information securityGDPR and data protectionArchitecture frameworks such as TOGAFPM3 or similar governance modelsPublic sector and LOULarge enterprise environments

You naturally see how the pieces fit together.

You’re curious enough to dig into the details, but experienced enough to know when to zoom out and challenge the bigger picture. You enjoy working with people across both business and technology and can make complex technical decisions understandable to others.

You’re comfortable taking ownership, asking the difficult questions and helping teams move from “this is what we need” to “this is how we build it.”
