To support the business, we are now looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Specialist Data & BI Developer. The position is located in Hyllie/Malmö and you will report to the Manager for Digital Platforms & Data.

The position

As a Senior Specialist Data & BI Developer, you will play a key role in strengthening our data-driven business development. You will combine business understanding, analytics, BI development and data engineering to transform complex business questions into reliable data products, actionable insights and scalable reporting solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT, regional and global teams, external partners and vendors to understand requirements, identify relevant data sources, build dashboards and visualisations, and develop data flows, data models/semantic models, business metrics and BI solutions. You will support the development of a stronger data and analytics culture across the organisation while ensuring that our data solutions are accurate, efficient, compliant and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business needs and strategic priorities into data use cases, analytics, dashboards and actionable insights Design, maintain and evolve data products, semantic models and business metrics as the single source of truth for reporting, analytics and AI use cases Build and support the use of AI, machine learning and advanced analytics where relevant to improve business performance Design, develop and maintain BI reports, data visualisations and decision-support solutions, primarily in Power BI Identify, connect and validate relevant data sources to ensure high-quality, accurate and reliable reporting Support root cause analysis of data-related issues and drive improvements in data quality, data management and automation Collaborate with business units, IT, regional and global teams, vendors and external partners to deliver scalable data and BI solutions Support compliance, privacy and data governance requirements in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders

Who are you?

We are looking for a candidate with solid experience from data analytics, BI development and data engineering in a business-oriented environment. You are confident in translating business requirements into technical solutions and have hands-on experience with reporting, dashboarding, semantic models and business metrics. You are comfortable working with tools and technologies such as Power BI, GitHub, SQL, DAX, Python and modern cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Lake or Databricks. Experience with CI/CD, data warehousing, data lakes or advanced analytics is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to work independently. You enjoy collaborating across functions and can communicate complex data and technical topics in a clear and business-oriented way. You have strong interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to balance hands-on development with stakeholder dialogue and continuous improvement. We believe you have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and a degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, business administration or a related field. Fluency in English and Swedish is required.
