Snowflake + DBT engineer

Description Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.Understanding of Snowflake’s virtual warehouse architecture and how to optimize performance and cost.Create and manage Snowflake objects (tables, views, schemas, stages, procedures).Implement partitioning, clustering, and performance tuning strategies.Implement and manage Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel.Manage external stages, storage integrations, data security, access controls, and role-based permissions in Snowflake. Work closely with data analysts, architects, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, errors, and pipeline failures in Snowflake and associated tools.Develop, test, and deploy data transformation models using DBT best practices.Implement Git workflows and automate DBT deploymentsExtensive experience designing and building pipelines in SnowflakeExtensive experience operating and maintaining pipelines in production on SnowflakeExtensive experience in dbtGood understanding of AzureArchitectural experience is a plusExperience in Informatica in IDMC is a plusGood grasp of CICD and GitHub actionsGood grasp of Git
