The intern will assist in designing, implementing, and testing software components that support the company’s food tech solutions. Daily tasks may include writing clean and maintainable code, working on back-end services, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with senior engineers on feature development. The intern will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and the integration of software modules into existing systems. This internship provides hands-on experience in a collaborative environment and exposure to industry-relevant tools and practices.Qualifications Foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development, including understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software life cycle.Practical skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar).Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, such as working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and write clear, efficient, and well-documented code.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in an on-site team environment in Helsinki.Ongoing or completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Interest in the food tech domain and willingness to learn industry-specific tools and technologies.
