Software Solutions Engineer – Cloud, Integrations & Architecture

Proffsmagasinet is looking for a hands-on Software Solutions Engineer to join our internal technology team and work closely with our business and established external development partners. This is a broad role combining software engineering, architecture and business understanding. You will not only translate requirements into solutions, but also identify opportunities where technology can improve customer experience, efficiency and business performance. What you will doWork closely with business teams to understand needs and identify opportunitiesDesign and build backend services, APIs, integrations, automation and internal toolsHelp shape technology decisions and long-term business goalsWork across our Azure-based, containerised e-commerce environmentCollaborate with our internal tech team and external developersExplore and test new technologies where they can create real business value Our environmentOur landscape includes .NET/F#, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Kafka, Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, Visma Business, Sterling EDI and Vivaldi. Our technology supports a complex e-commerce ecosystem spanning online commerce, ERP, warehouse, logistics, search, payments, customer communication and integrations.You do not need experience with everything above. We value the ability to understand complex systems, learn quickly and choose pragmatic solutions. What we are looking forYou are an experienced software engineer who still enjoys building things, but who also has a commercial mindset and strong business understanding. You should be comfortable working across technology and business, influencing architecture, solving complex problems and helping turn ideas into valuable solutions.Experience with AI-assisted development is valuable. F# experience is useful, but not required.
