Solution Architect, Core Banking

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team and work with a major Nordic bank on the evolution of its core banking platform. You will own the architecture roadmap for the Temenos Ledger, align it with business goals, and guide modernization toward API-first, event-driven and cloud patterns while keeping a mission-critical system stable. You will work across markets with business stakeholders, architects and engineers. What you will do:• Shape the target architecture and standards for the ledger platform• Lead architecture for complex initiatives and migrations• Map interfaces, data flows and dependencies across core banking, payments and data platforms• Weigh business value, delivery risk and technical complexity, and explain the trade-offs clearly• Run architecture reviews and keep technical debt under control• Mentor architects and engineers What we are looking for:• Bachelor's degree (required)• Architecture or senior engineering experience with ledgers and core banking systems• A track record of leading large transformations or migrations• Experience in banking with strict availability, security and regulatory requirements• Temenos experience is a strong plus This is a permanent position with Superbrain Oy, based in Helsinki, working with our banking client.
