Solution Architect – ERPUK & Selected EMEA Locations – Remote | Hybrid for Cheltenham-based candidates£90,000 - £100,000 + £9,000 Car Allowance + Benefits Open to candidates based in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, the Nordics, Italy, Poland, Egypt, Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain, Austria or Turkey. VIQU are partnering with a global organisation undergoing significant transformation across its ERP and wider technology landscape. They are seeking a senior Solution Architect to act as the lead ERP subject matter expert, owning the strategic direction and roadmap across a complex global ERP estate. This is a highly influential role spanning architecture, platform strategy and delivery, helping to modernise ERP capabilities and shape solutions across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Engineering. Key Responsibilities of the Solution Architect – ERP: Act as the lead ERP Solution Architect, defining the future architecture, functional vision and strategic direction of the ERP landscapeOwn the ERP platform roadmap and lead solution design across major transformation, modernisation and implementation programmesTranslate complex business requirements into scalable, secure and sustainable ERP solutionsDrive ERP standardisation and best practice, challenging unnecessary customisation and encouraging adoption of existing platform capabilitiesProvide architectural direction across JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integrations with wider enterprise platformsEvaluate emerging technologies across Azure, low-code, Microsoft Copilot and AI Agent-based solutionsPartner with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, technology vendors and implementation partners, influencing technology decisions up to C-suite level Key Experience Required of the Solution Architect – ERP: Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, with your current or most recent role focused on Solution Architecture within ERP environmentsExpert-level ERP experience, ideally across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and/or JD Edwards 9.2Recent, demonstrable experience architecting and delivering a new ERP implementation, major ERP transformation or platform modernisationStrong experience within global Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Engineering environments, with an understanding of how ERP supports complex operational processesProven ownership of ERP platform strategy and roadmaps, including defining future-state architecture and influencing long-term technology directionPrevious experience working within a consultancy or Systems Integrator, ideally leading complex client engagements and ERP transformation programmesStrong Microsoft Azure architecture experience, including integrating ERP with cloud and wider enterprise platformsExperience designing integrated enterprise landscapes spanning ERP, CRM, MDM and associated business systemsExperience driving ERP standardisation, reducing unnecessary customisation and influencing stakeholders towards global platform capabilitiesExposure to low-code, Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents or other AI-enabled solutions within ERP or enterprise environmentsProven experience operating across global, multi-country programmes and influencing senior stakeholders up to C-suite level Apply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence, or reach out to Katie Dark via the VIQU IT website.Do you know someone great?
