Teaching Vacancy - Social Responsibility of Business

HELBUS Helsinki School of Business is seeking an experienced instructor to deliver the module Social Responsibility of Business (BUS3001) from January - June 2027. The position is part-time and fixed term. Teaching will take place during the day time at our city centre campus at Kalevankatu 12. HELBUS is a private business school in Finland founded in 2012, working in partnership with Pearson and the University of Northampton, UK. HELBUS is owned by the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce. The module is part of the University of Northampton’s third-year top-up programme in business and management, delivered by HELBUS in Helsinki. The instructor is expected to prepare, teach and assess the module, in close collaboration with the UoN module leader and HELBUS programme leader. The module’s content, description, learning outcomes, assessment criteria and schedule are determined by UoN. We require the following: Teaching experience directly related to the module content at least at undergraduate level, especially business sustainability and ethics, ESG and social responsibilityMaster’s or preferably Ph.D. in business or related fieldExcellent English skills Additionally, we greatly value the following:A formal teaching qualificationRelevant practice experienceSound experience in planning, delivering and assessing courses and providing feedback to studentsProactive approach to supporting students and interactive teaching methodsExperience in the UK higher education sectorStructured approach with attention to detail To apply, please submit your application through our online vacancy system.
