Test Lead (HR Core Workday)

We are looking for a Test Lead (HR Core Workday) for one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite)

The Test Lead will be accountable for defining, governing, and coordinating end-to-end testing for a Core HR Workday implementation program. The role ensures that solution configuration, business processes, integrations, security, reports, data migration, and downstream impacts are tested against agreed requirements and ready for deployment. You will coordinate business stakeholders, project streams, and implementation partners throughout all testing phases.

Own the end-to-end testing strategy and quality assurance approach for the Workday implementation program Lead planning and execution of all testing phases including SIT, UAT, End-to-End, Security, and Data Migration testing Ensure business processes, integrations, security controls, reporting, and data migration meet agreed requirements and quality standards Coordinate business stakeholders, project streams, and implementation partners throughout testing activities Manage testing risks, issues, dependencies, and defect resolution activities Provide testing status, quality metrics, and go-live readiness assessments to program governance Ensure successful business acceptance and formal sign-off of testing outcomes Support cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities

Proven experience in test management and quality assurance leadership roles Strong background in HR technology implementations and Workday solutions Expertise in integration and data migration testing Demonstrated experience in defect, risk, and issue management Skilled in stakeholder and vendor management Strong planning, coordination, and governance capabilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication and leadership skills
