Test Validation Engineer

Are you passionate about vehicle testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced development environment? We are looking for a Test Validation Engineer to support adaptive testing activities across Europe and contribute to the continuous development and validation of advanced vehicle technologies.About the RoleIn this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for supporting test vehicles throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with engineers, vehicle management teams, logistics specialists, and test organizations to ensure vehicles are ready for testing and that issues are identified, documented, and resolved efficiently.This position involves extensive hands-on testing and troubleshooting, as well as travel within Europe for longer periods.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle testing and validation activities during adaptive testing programsCollect and analyze vehicle data through logging and diagnostic toolsIdentify, document, and report software and vehicle-related issuesSupport fault tracing and troubleshooting activitiesCollaborate with issue managers, engineers, and test teams to resolve problemsEnsure test vehicles are prepared and available for planned test activitiesMonitor vehicle performance and contribute to continuous improvementsParticipate in testing activities at various proving grounds and test locationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related fieldExperience working in software testing, vehicle testing, or validation environmentsHands-on experience with diagnostic and data analysis tools such as CANalyzer or similarValid Category B driver's licenseFluent in English (Swedish is considered a strong advantage)MeritoriousExperience with vehicle diagnostics and fault tracingExperience in automotive testing and validationKnowledge of data logging and issue management processesExperience working in international development environmentsMandarin language skillsWho You AreAnalytical and structured with strong problem-solving skillsComfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasksA team player who enjoys cross-functional collaborationAdaptable and eager to work in a dynamic test environmentPassionate about automotive technology and continuous improvement
