UGC & Influencer Marketing Intern (LIA)
LIA · Fall 2026 We’re looking for a curious and commercially minded UGC & Influencer Marketing Intern to join us this fall. As a small and growing brand, you’ll become an important part of a small team where ideas can move quickly from thought to reality. You’ll work closely with the founder, have plenty of room to bring your own perspective and take real ownership of your area. We don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything. We do expect you to be curious, take initiative, ask questions and want to figure things out with us.
THE ROLEDuring your LIA period, you’ll help us develop and build our approach to UGC and influencer marketing, from strategy and structure to relationships, content and results. You’ll start by getting to know our brand - our mission, vision, identity, products and the goals we’re working towards. From there, one of your first assignments will be to develop a UGC & Influencer Marketing Plan defining who we should work with, why they are relevant to the brand, what we want different collaborations to achieve, how we should approach creators, proposed budgets and how we should measure the results. The focus is not on contacting as many creators as possible. We want to find the right people, build genuine relationships and understand how creator marketing can contribute to awareness, engagement, content, website traffic, advertising performance and ultimately sales.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK WITH— Develop a UGC & influencer marketing strategy and activation plan— Research, identify and qualitatively evaluate relevant creators and influencers— Build creator profiles and explain the thinking behind your selections— Develop outreach approaches and personalized communication— Build and manage creator relationships from first contact through completed collaboration— Plan and coordinate gifting, product seeding, UGC and paid collaborations— Create creator briefs and communicate campaign objectives— Coordinate products, agreements, deadlines, content delivery and usage rights— Review and organize received UGC and identify content with potential for organic and paid marketing— Track costs, budgets and campaign performance— Analyze reach, views, engagement, clicks, website traffic, conversions and attributable sales where possible— Present learnings, ideas and recommendations and continuously develop the approach based on what we learn
HELP US BUILD THE SYSTEMBecause we’re a small business, part of the opportunity is that not everything is already built for you.An important part of your LIA will therefore be helping us create the structure behind our creator marketing. You’ll research and evaluate platforms designed for UGC and influencer marketing and recommend a solution that makes sense for where we are today while allowing us to grow. Together, we’ll establish a structured way of managing creator relationships, communication, collaborations, agreements, products sent, costs and budgets, content received, usage rights and performance. The goal is for your work to contribute not only to what we do during your LIA, but also to how we work with creator marketing going forward.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORYou might be studying marketing, communication, e-commerce, digital media or something completely adjacent — your mindset and interest matter just as much to us. We think you are:— Highly familiar with social media, creators and digital culture— Able to recognize strong content and genuine influence beyond follower numbers— Creative, but also curious about the commercial side of marketing— Structured and detail-oriented— Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships— Happy taking ownership while also working closely together— Interested in understanding what actually performs and why— Comfortable sharing your ideas, opinions and recommendations— Curious, proactive and willing to test, learn and adjust Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who cares about doing thoughtful, qualitative work.We would rather build two genuinely valuable creator relationships with a clear purpose than send one hundred generic outreach messages just to tick a box.
WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITHWe’re a small business, which means you won’t be one intern among twenty or several steps removed from the decisions being made. You’ll work closely with the founder and become a key part of a small team during an important period of development. You’ll also be joining us at an exciting stage, with a new brand direction and product launch taking shape behind the scenes. By the end of your LIA, the ambition is that you’ve helped us create something that wasn’t there when you started: stronger creator relationships, valuable content, a clearer understanding of what works, and a creator marketing structure we can continue building on.
