About the role This is a general practice position with a focus on internal medicine.Depending on your interests and experience, your work may include:General practice consultationsInternal medicine cases such as:Chronic gastrointestinal diseasesHepatic, pancreatic and biliary disordersKidney and urinary tract diseasesLong-term management of chronic patientsAbdominal ultrasound Help us build the first Veterinary Nutrition Clinic in the Nordics. Clinical nutrition is becoming an increasingly important part of our service, and you'll have the opportunity to work closely with nutrition cases if this interests you. Full-time opportunities available Unlike many referral positions, this role offers a varied clinical caseload.A veterinarian with an interest and deep knowledge in both general practice and internal medicine can work full-time (5 days/week) with us.Part-time arrangements are also possible for the right candidate.Who are we looking for?We're looking for a veterinarian who:enjoys and excels both general practice and internal medicineworks independentlycommunicates warmly with clientsenjoys solving challenging clinical casesworks efficiently without compromising qualityenjoys collaborating with veterinary nursesis curious and committed to lifelong learningcan get the work permit to Finland (most commonly has studied and graduated in the European Union).You do not need to be a certified specialist. Strong clinical skills and the right attitude are far more important than formal titles.
