The RoleDefine and execute the roadmap to transform a mature SaaS platform into an AI-native product environment Lead architectural evolution across the platform, including cloud-agnostic and multi-environment deployment capabilities Drive the adoption of modern AI technologies, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled software development practices across engineering teamsPartner closely with product, engineering, and business leaders to align technology strategy with commercial objectives Lead and develop a team of architects, engineering leaders, and technical specialists while influencing a broader engineering organisation Build technical credibility across the organisation and act as a thought leader capable of bringing teams through significant change Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to represent the company's technology and AI vision externally Candidate ProfileProven experience leading complex software, platform, or architecture organisations within B2B SaaS environments Strong track record embedding AI capabilities into commercial software products rather than solely driving enterprise-wide AI adoption initiativesDeep understanding of software architecture, cloud-native technologies, modern development practices, and AI-enabled product development Experience leading large-scale technology, platform, or engineering transformations within established software businessesAbility to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical authority with credibility among senior engineering teams Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence executives, engineers, customers, and partners alike This is a rare opportunity to shape the future direction of a globally deployed software platform and lead one of the most ambitious AI transformation programmes within the European SaaS market.
