At Sinch we “Dream Big”, “Win Together”, “Keep it simple”, and “Make it Happen”. These values are our foundation! DescriptionThe VP, Portfolio Strategy shapes the strategy and future direction for a focused set of cross-product themes within Sinch’s Product organization. These are the highest-leverage opportunities that span Messaging, Voice, Email, and Applications, and that shape how customers experience Sinch as a single platform. This is a senior product leadership role focused on portfolio direction, cross-product alignment, and clear ownership of a small number of strategic themes. You will help define and advance priorities such as end-to-end customer journeys, developer and agent experiences, Product-led Growth, ecosystems, integrations, partnerships, AI-native and agentic adoption, and selective channel evolution opportunities such as conversational messaging. Your work will translate ambiguous portfolio themes into clear decisions, success measures, ownership models, and measurable outcomes across products, regions, and functions. You will sit alongside our product area leaders, partner closely with regional and GTM leadership, and act as a senior product partner to the Chief Product Officer. The role is built for a leader who is strongest at setting direction, aligning senior stakeholders, clarifying ownership, and making cross-product outcomes legible and measurable. Key responsibilitiesShape and rank the product strategy and future direction for a focused set of portfolio-level, cross-product themes that disproportionately matter to Sinch’s growth, working with the Chief Product Officer to translate them into clear priorities, sequencing, ownership, and success outcomes. Balance investment across the product portfolio, including when and how we allocate resources to big bets, and make the trade-offs and sequencing explicit to product-line and GTM leadership. Define and evolve the mission, scope boundaries, and interfaces of Product Areas, so teams can move faster with clear ownership, fewer overlaps, and stronger cross-area collaboration. Translate strategy into concrete, decision-ready proposals on end-to-end customer journeys and the developer and agent surfaces that present Sinch as a single portfolio. Ensure strategic portfolio priorities translate into measurable business outcomes by defining success measures, decision points, and ownership models, in partnership with Product Operations and Business Operations on sequencing, dependency clarity, adoption tracking, and disciplined follow-through. Partner with regional leadership in AMER, EMEA, and APAC to ensure cross-product priorities are understood, sequenced, and adopted in market, with plans tailored to buyer needs, regulatory realities, and regional growth opportunities. Act as a senior product partner to the Chief Product Officer on portfolio-level strategy, partnerships, and M&A pattern recognition. Shape how cross-product strategy gets translated into action at scale by clarifying decision rights, escalation paths, accountability, and the minimum operating rhythm required to keep strategic priorities moving. The role is ideally based at SINCH HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. Requirements 15+ years in product leadership in CPaaS, communications software or enterprise SaaS with experience operating in growth environments, not only operating in established businesses. Strong experience with multi-product platforms, ecosystems, integrations, partnerships, developer experiences, or cross-channel customer journeys. A track record of landing cross-functional, cross-product outcomes inside a multi-product portfolio. Strong product judgment and commercial fluency: you move comfortably between portfolio strategy and GTM motion design, and you understand unit economics and gross profit mechanics, not just revenue. Demonstrable stakeholder management and collaboration skills: you build trust with product-line leaders, GTM, regional teams, and partners, and you can implement hard choices once decisions are made. A humble, collaborative leadership style: you build trust through inclusion, engagement, and transparency, and you have the courage to challenge assumptions while listening and learning from others. A strong outcomes orientation. You are credible because you make the hardest cross-product choices clear, align leaders behind them, and ensure results are measurable and owned. Senior executive presence, with the ability to operate credibly at C-suite, board, customer, and partner executive level. Comfort operating with ambiguity, delegated authority, and an explicit obligation to make a small number of cross-product outcomes legible, measurable, and accountable inside a product-line-led organization.
