Day-to-day tasks include measuring, cutting, assembling, and sanding wooden components, as well as preparing surfaces and applying paint, stains, and finishes to achieve the desired look and durability. The role involves using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently, following detailed design specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality control. The Woodworker / Painter will collaborate with design and production colleagues, help maintain a clean and organized workshop, and ensure that each piece reflects by Crea’s commitment to timeless design and quality. QualificationsStrong woodworking skills, including Carpentry and Woodworking, with experience in furniture or Cabinetry.Proficiency in safe and effective use of Hand Tools and Power Tools in a workshop environment.Experience in surface preparation, painting, staining, and finishing wood to a high aesthetic and functional standard.Attention to detail, ability to follow technical drawings or design specifications, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.Basic knowledge of workshop safety practices and ability to maintain a tidy, organized workspace.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a small, design-focused team.Previous experience in furniture manufacturing or a similar craft-based environment is an advantage.Ability to stand, lift, and perform manual work for extended periods, with adherence to health and safety guidelines.
