About the job This is a consulting assignment that lasts for 6 months. In this assignment, you will join a development-focused environment where acoustics, product performance, and technical excellence are central parts of the daily work. Tasks and responsibilities As an Acoustical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating electroacoustic measurements related to audio products. The role combines practical laboratory work with technical analysis and requires a solid understanding of acoustic principles and measurement methods. You will work closely with engineers and development teams to verify system performance, analyze measurement results, and support ongoing product development activities. A significant part of the role involves planning and conducting measurements, ensuring reliable test setups, and interpreting results to provide valuable technical insights. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing acoustic measurements of audio systems

Conducting testing and measurements in sound chambers

Measuring and evaluating acoustic attenuation in systems

Working with acoustic feedback measurements and related analysis

Processing and analyzing measurement data using tools such as Audio Precision and MATLAB

Education, experience and personal characteristics Bachelor's degree or equivalent university education in a relevant technical field

At least three years of documented experience within electroacoustic or audio testing

Experience performing acoustic measurements on audio systems

Strong understanding of acoustic measurement methods and test procedures

Professional proficiency in English

Nice to have Experience working with hearing aids or hearing-related products

Experience using Audio Precision measurement systems

Knowledge of MATLAB and post-processing of measurement data
