Contract opportunity | Oct 2026 – Mar 2027 | Full-time (40h/week) We're looking for a hands-on, senior AI consultant to support a global automotive powertrain manufacturer in transforming its finance function with practical, working AI. About the clientA leading international supplier of hybrid engines and transmissions, with production on two continents and thousands of employees worldwide. As part of a larger global powertrain group, the organization operates in a multicultural, multi-site environment where finance, IT and business teams work closely together. The assignment You'll identify where AI can create real value across the finance function, build working solutions, and set out a roadmap for scaling them. Key areas include:Assessing AI opportunities across financial close, reporting, FP&A and controllingDesigning, building and deploying AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google platforms or similar technologiesExtracting, cleaning and structuring data from ERP, EPM and unstructured sourcesRunning proofs of concept and turning the results into a prioritised roadmapCollaborating with finance, IT and business stakeholders across countries and cultures What we're looking forA solid background in finance, accounting, controlling or FP&AProven hands-on experience building AI agentsStrong data extraction and cleansing skills (SQL, Python, Power Query, Google ADK or BigQuery)Experience exploring project opportunities and defining roadmapsFluent English and experience in international, cross-cultural teams Who you areSelf-driven, pragmatic and comfortable with ambiguity. You combine financial understanding with practical AI development skills and a hands-on approach to solving business challenges.
